Aveda Scalp Benefits Review

Aveda Scalp Benefits Review

Hello, lovelies hope your all keeping well. I posted a few weeks ago that I have been having a few issues with dry scalp, yuck. I have been a blonde for years and now experimenting with Balayage so it’s so noticeable with darker roots. I have tried products from off the shelf and to be honest they either did absolutely nothing or made it worse. So off I trotted to the Aveda concession in House of Frazer hoping for a miracle. Explained all my issues to lovely sales lady as I named her in the previous blog and she came up with the Scalp Benefits Balancing Shampoo and Conditioner as my rescue products. Today im talking about the Aveda Scalp Benefits Review.

Aveda Scalp Benefits Review

A few weeks into testing and I can feel now I can give a really honest review. I’m so pleased to report it has worked miracles. Not instant which I didn’t expect but after 7-10 days use my scalp has completely cleared up. I normally don’t use any conditioner on the roots of my head and just apply to the ends to deter any greasiness occurring, the conditioner from this combo is for full head usage which I found odd at the start but got used to it after a few washes. One thing I would say these products are highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way, I’m using about a 10p sized amount per application and I get a really good lather up with it, same sized with the conditioner. Both products are extremely creamy and not watery at all like some cheaper products can be. I’m used to using more fruity smelling products so these are very different to the norm for me, consisting of a very plant-based smell, but again you just get used to it.
