Dry Scalp, Aveda To The Rescue

Yip the dreaded dry scalp has hit me…why me? As an ex-hairdresser, I do know a thing or 2 about our lovely Barnet’s. But this has me stumped. No obvious reason why the little flakes are building up or why I have the dreaded itchy scalp. No massive change in products here either and I do give the head a good rinse after washing. today I’m talking about Dry Scalp, Aveda To The Rescue

So after trying a few brands out there and still plagued, I knew it was time I upped my game. I headed into town, yes my favourite haunt and headed for good old HOF. I hot-footed it to the Aveda counter. Newly decked out concession with their product revamp proudly on display. I was met by a lovely sales lady and as I said above I was a hairdresser for many years so I knew the questions to ask. Lovely sales lady as she will now be known knew exactly what I needed. Teamed with shampoo and conditioner I got the product low down. One thing I love are people in the industry who know their stuff and by God, she didn’t half. Hooray. As my hair is long now (1st time ever in my life I may add) I’m always a bit skeptical of running conditioner right up to the scalp, but this product needs just that for it to replenish and rehydrate the dryness. So tomorrow my new hair regime starts. I will come back and let you all know how I get on. If you have any tips yourselves, I would love to hear them 🙂

Lovely sales lady also gave me a good selection of samples which I aim to start trying soon, so I will update with any little gems that I may come across ? please do ask when on any beauty counter for samples. They have them in abundance under the display counters, that’s what they are there for, for you to try
