I was very kindly gifted some Note Cosmetics from the team at Publicity Loft. I have seen Note Cosmetics talked about so positively within my blogging circle and also featured on Instagram. I hadn’t until now tried any items from the brand as it’s not available in pharmacies up here so to have a few items to test was fantastic. Today as you have guessed it I’m talking all about the Note Cosmetics Review.
Note Cosmetics Review
Note cosmetics offers a luxury yet affordable range of beauty products. All items in the range are paraben free and never tested on animals.
Luminous Moisture Foundation
This was the first item that I put to the test from my goodies. I was sent shade Honey Beige which has also got SPF 15 in it. I’m tanned at the minute so this was a perfect colour match for me. As usual, I prime my face and apply pore corrector (my must-have combo for creating that flawless finish on my skin) I must say from the off I was super impressed by the consistency. A rich creamy super-blendable formula. It honestly applies like a dream, as usual, I used a damp beauty blender. It’s a good medium/full coverage foundation that leaves your skin looks luminous and radiant. From a price stance, it’s amazingly affordable and more like a mid/ high-end foundation in performance.
Long Lash Mascara
As I have gotten older my lovely long plumped eyelashes are no longer. I need a mascara that packs both length and volume into my lashes. I’m used to a more rigid spoolie so it took a few goes until I felt fully comfortable getting right in there. That said when I applied a few coats I got my full volume packed lashes. The bristles are nicely packed together and the product doesn’t clump. Again like the foundation, this is another winner for me. Price wise again super affordable and the packaging is very sleek and classy.
Luminous Silk Compact Blusher
If there was ever a shade made for me the 02 Pink in Summer is it. I’m normally super pale verging on a nice blue shade of white. So I really need a light colour to add a natural flush of colour to my cheeks. The compact is sleek and stylish and also comes with an internal mirror and brush for those on the go application moments. A lovely light powder which is so easy to apply. Again another winner for me 🙂
I’m not really a liner person as I’m absolutely awful at getting that lovely clean crisp line. For testing purposes, I had to try of course. The liner is in pen form offering a really thin tip to get precision Its also very flexible as well and you can get a thicker line by applying more pressure to the tip. It works well but I will never be that person who can get a liner bang on. For those of you that are this is a great liner to try out.
I’m so impressed with the items that I tried. I honestly can’t believe how affordable they are. The packaging as I mentioned is super sleek and it actually looks like a more expensive brand. From the items that I have tested, I will most definitely be repurchasing some of the items.
