Zoeva Smoky Palette

Zoeva Smoky Palette

I have been wanting to buy a new Eyeshadow Palette for a while, but then I find something else to lust after lol. I decided to buy this Zoeva Smoky Palette as I haven’t purchased from this brand before and I really liked the look of the tones in the smoky palette. I’m trying so hard to vamp up my makeup this year, to date I have been pretty conservative with eyeshadow but after many trails I’m loving the chance to explore more.

Zoeva Smoky Palette

The Pallet costs £17.50 and is a steal for the price.I wasn’t disappointed when it arrived the packaging is deep, dark with added touches of lighter colours giving the appearance of a smoky background. I love the way the palette is encased in a sleeve, I for one will be using this all the time to stop little fingers having a play.

Inside the pallet the packaging has a lighter tone moving down to a darker tone and 10 pans. There is a selection of Matt/Pearl and Metallic tones.

My 1st impressions are positive, tho the lighter shades aren’t as pigmented in my opinion and you do need to build the colour up. My favourites hands down are the Metallic shades of searching and dark edge, they are adorable and the sheen from them amazing.

So many amazing smoky looks can be achieved using this Palette, all the colours also complement each other so well. This is one palette that I’m sure I will get plenty of use from.

Can you guys recommend any other Zoeva products that I could try or any other eyeshadow pallets?

I was debating these palettes over the xmas period – I didn’t get them – I got their highlighters instead but I like the honesty about their lighter shades, have you thought about putting a concealer or a white base down to make the shadows pop more? x

The darker colours are fabulous and so pigmented no issues at all with them 🙂 I use a cream base in painterly from Mac with my shadows. Will play about with it some more 🙂 x

I’ve never tried a Zoeva palette, but this one does look good. I love the Makeup Revolutions Fortune Favours the Brave palette, and you can’t beat an Urban Decay palette!
