Achievable New Year Resolutions

Achievable New Year Resolutions

I must say this last year has absolutely flown in. It doesn’t seem a whole 12 months since I wrote my 2017 New Years Resolutions. I just had a look at last years goals to see if I met them and the vast majority I did yay. For 2018 I have set myself Achievable New Year Resolutions. Well, ones that I can reach for with work and effort. I’m determined to push myself out of my comfort zone next year in all aspects of my life.

Health and Fitness

My blog kind of took over last year and this year I need to focus on my health and wellbeing. I have been paying monthly for a gym membership that I don’t use so my goal is to go at least 2 times a week. I love the gym and I adore the feeling that it gives me, so to not go is silly on my part. I also need to tackle my weight. This is super achievable if I start cutting the crap out of my meals and snacks. I’m such a foodie, so if its there I will eat it lol so much more discipline and planning on the meal front is on the agenda from now on.

I want to try and create more amazing memories for my children especially relating to holidays. My goal for some stage of 2018 is to go skiing. We always thoroughly enjoy our hot summer holiday but want to explore and for the children to experience different cultures and learn about different countries.

For me, 2017 was an amazing year for me workwise. I hadn’t set myself any plans to go back to work etc but it’s all just happened and thanks to my blog and my prints I’m bringing an extra income into the house which is just so lovely. I can work from home and around the children which gives us all the best of both worlds.  I get to expand and explore my creative side and the children get me at home. I also want to desperately finish my marketing diploma this year and to hopefully start a creative writing diploma. I also have a short story in the works at the minute so to finish it would be amazing.

2018 is hopefully going to be a year where I can focus and plan more, create more memories for my family and above all enough life to its fullest. I wish you all a wonderful year ahead and If you have set yourself any gaols I hope you achieve them 🙂

You can certainly achieve your goals this year! I think having smaller goals especially when it comes to fitness helps a lot more (I found that last year) I hope you get the chance to go skiiing.

I’ve set lots of small goals this year to make sure I’m able to manage the majority of them. My main one is to lose weight, I hope I’m able to achieve this going forward 🙂

One of my main 2018 goals is memories too. I’ve made a list of things we could do this year and started planning them in the diary to make sure we do. Hopefully this will be an adventurous year for us both!
