Favourite Winter House Scents

I’m most definitely a lover of smells in my house. Most of my rooms have something in them. My favourite scents are sweet, cinnamon and coconut and lemongrass. I have a wax melt warmer in my living room and kitchen which are on all day. I have a reed diffuser in the hall, which is lovely as you get a hit of luscious scents as soon as you open the front door. I have multiple candles around the rest of the rooms and my favourite scents in a candle beside my bed, I light it every night when I go upstairs to wind down, really adds warmth to my room and I love the glow that it give. I have tried cheap to more expensive brands and I do prefer the more expensive brands, nothing wrong with cheaper brands as I’m partial to Ikea candles but I find the smell lasts longer with the higher end melts and candles.

Here are a few of my favourite brands at the minute.

So Soy Hand Poured Candles

White Company Reed Diffuser

Candle Belle Wax Melts

What are your favourite smells and go to brands for Wax Melts and Candles?

I love wintery scents all over our home! I, too, have a reed diffuser in the entryway which spreads its scent throughout the hallway and I have scented candles in the living room. Upstairs we have oil diffusers in the bedrooms which make for the perfect atmosphere to sleep well.

I love a good scented candle! Personally I prefer fresh clean scents but at Christmas time I get these fantastic smelling apple and cinnamon candles. I have them everywhere!

I love winter scents! I love cinnamon candles but i’m also a big fan of pine scents since I don’t have a Christmas tree up in my home house (since I’m going home for the holidays)

I love pine scented candles. Bath and Body carries a couple different varieties. What scents do you recommend from Ikea?

The sweeter scents are my favourite. I’m always drawn to the Vanilla or Strawberry candles. They burn well and they retain the smell as well 🙂 at the minute I have their winter collection burning

I am the same way! I have to have a scent in every room in our apartment. I bought my first scent warmer from BBW the other week and I fell in love. I had to stock up on all the winter scents they had as well. I haven’t heard of the brands you listed but will be on the lookout and try them. Thank you

I’m with you, I really like making my house smell warm and inviting, by utilizing scent. This is especially true around the holidays. I’m definitely going to be trying out those wax melts, they look great!
