We have been massive Jojo Maman Bebe fans since the twins were small. Their entire range is amazing from season to season, I also love the fact that they have a line for maternity wear and also a home section. We are always very impressed with both the design aspect and the quality of the items. They wash incredibly well with zero wash fade, which is fantastic. Lucas our 6 year old has been able to hand down some items to his twin brothers which for us is great, and also shows the longevity of the items, especially great for parents with larger families. Today I’m going to focus on JoJo Maman Bebe winter clothing and showing some key pieces from the collection that will see us through autumn and winter.
Jojo Maman Bebe
The idea for the company started in 1992 when Laura the founder was running a small clothing business and travelling around Asia. Noticing the lack of quality catalogue shopping for children Laura decided to set up Jojo. Following her love for all things Breton, the brand was created.
Working from a small office in London and storing clothing in a local warehouse the brand launched.
A few years later due to the success of the Launch, the first team members joined the JoJo family. Over 20 years later Jojo Maman Bebe is a worldwide success but still very focused on providing good quality items with the planet in mind. With shops on the high street, a catalogue for parents to browse through at home and a booming online business. JoJo has expanded their range and now include items for children, maternity wear and nursery and bedding range.
Jojo Maman Bebe Winter Clothing
We have purchased the JoJo coats, hats and wellies in the past, both lined and perfect for children wanting to go out and play in the cooler months whilst staying warm. The boys have been trying out the new 2017 winter coats and waterproofs. Perfect additions to any little one’s wardrobe. Mason and Logan have been wearing the waterproofs a fair bit already due to the abrupt end of our summer. The design allows them the freedom of exploring and staying comfortable but also keeping them dry. An added bonus with the coats is that they are reversible. One side has a fleece lining, the other a waterproof outer. Ther are multiple designs to pick from, both tailored for boys and girls.
Reversible Waterproof Fleece Lined Coat £39
A must have product for your little one’s winter wardrobe. Includes fleece lining, storm flap, mitten clips, cosy wadding, reversible, waterproof side.
Packaway Waterproof Dungarees £29
Compact dungarees with an added fold away option for easy storage. Includes front pocket, waterproof, windproof, buckle fastening, removal stirrups and can be washed at 30 degrees.
As always we are incredibly impressed with the quality of items. The thought put into the design is fantastic, both allowing children to remain dry and warm but also allowing them freedom of movement on playdays outside. Logan adores the fleece lining of the inside of the coat. Having a few sensory issues this design is perfect for him as he loves items that feel soft to touch but are also comfortable when wearing. We would thoroughly recommend any of the winter clothing range from JoJo. The sizing we find is generous which means we can sometimes get 2 years out of the coats, the boys will be wearing these to school as well as an outdoor play coat. From an affordability stance, they are super affordable and when you compare the quality of the items it is a wise investment for the upcoming colder months and beyond.
