Maru Swimwear Review

Dare I say it but the summer is heading our way and so is our beach holiday. So funny that I’m writing this after being away on a ski trip 🙂 when swimwear was definitely not on my mind. We are heading back to Holland this year again. When there we spend a lot of time at the beach, either eating in the beautiful restaurants or building sandcastles. Holland for me really look after the families needs so beside each restaurant is a play area and this is when swimwear comes in so handy. We either let the boys wear as they are or pop a t-shirt on for added coverage. It’s so much easier for us for the boys to wear something that washes/rinses and then dries uber quickly. I recently found this amazing range of swimwear for little ones so I thought I would share my Maru Swimwear Review with you today.

Maru Swimwear Review

Maru is a British company which was founded in Nottingham and which has now been in business for nearly 30 years, impressive eh? They design in-house and also print all the fabrics in the UK as well, which is great to hear. Bold prints which offer high quality but also excellent performance.Very much based on the fact that they want to produce high quality long lasting items which for me means a lot. I love companies that have a great ethos and Maru definitely does. All the fabrics used are UPF50+ and are the fabric is also chlorine proof which means no fading.

A Selection From The Range

I also love the fact that the girl’s selection has the added short detailing. My eldest hated swimsuits and bikinis and this would have been a perfect costume for her. Although we have been trying the boys range I’m very impressed by the design detailing in the girl’s range and variation of colours/designs available.

My Overall Thoughts

As a mum, I want to buy the best that we can for the smalls especially for activities and outdoor swimming. The fact that the fabrics are tested so well and also don’t pile is amazing. When I buy I really want to invest in something that lasts. As Lucas is 18 months older than the twins we tend to hand me down. So longevity is very important in my clothing selection. Being a Scandi loving family we opt for more colourful prints for the boys and the range gives me just that. We are really impressed by the full range for the entire family. From a price point to the selection of amazing prints, the brand has it all covered.
