West Coast Cooler Fashion Week SS18 Press Launch

Last Thursday I was kindly invited along to the West Coast Cooler Fashion Week SS18 Press Launch #wccfw by the ultimate girl boss Cathy Martin. This season sees the 25 season of fashion week here in my hometown Belfast, the baby of CMPR Director Cathy. The date is always firmly fixed in many of Belfast’s fashion-loving follower’s dairies. Last year was my first year being invited and now its one of the highlights of my blogging calendar. This seasons launch was held in the Ormeau Baths Belfast. A vast room, with a very minimalistic vibe. Leaving the clothes to do the talking. So let’s see what styles we have in store for SS18.

SS18 very much takes its style direction from the 80/90s. The years where I was growing up in Belfast. I must say the trends are very much welcomed into my wardrobe as they take a modern day twist. Some AW17 trends will continue into SS18 which is fantastic but we also welcome pops of colour. In the form of purples, pinks, greens and my standard uniform black/white, polka dots and stripes. Textures remain at the forefront giving us lots of feathers and sequins. I have my eye on so many pieces from the launch day and these include items from the following:

ASOS

Blush

Boux Avenue

Debenhams

Grainne Maher

Jourdan

Lover of Luxe

Nor Lisa Fashion

Remus Uomo

Rings O’Roses

The Outlet

River Island

Zara

Dunnes Savida

New Look

Monki

Miss Selfridge

Topshop

Alice McCall

Sister Jane
