31st State Teen Product Review

Having a teenage son I was very happy to receive a package from 31st State. The brand focuses purely on a line for teenage boys, which I think is fantastic. Until we actually found this brand I found the market to have a very limited range directed purely at teenage boys. My experience has been a huge jump from toddler to men’s products, well that was until now. Today I’m talking about the 31st State Teen Product Review. I hope if you have teen boys or family members that fall into this bracket you may find it interesting. Also a great idea for upcoming Christmas stocking gifts.

Kane’s Thoughts

As a collection goes this one is pretty impressive. As I said earlier a lot of thought has been put into producing a range for teen boys. But that also delivers on the earth friendly front whilst remaining appealing and practical. My 17 year old Kane has been trying the range out for a few weeks and he is very impressed. Kane like many teens has suffered with hormonal breakouts. Some of the products we have tried in the past have been too harsh for his sensitive and eczema prone skin. The balance in the ones he has found has been pretty bang on for his skin type. Out of the range Kane really likes the style and hair putty. Being image conscious he likes to maintain a very groomed style and he found the putty offered the control that he required without being either too heavy or flaky. This was closely followed by the hair and body wash.

If any of the products take your fancy I have included the main website link below, plus links to all products in the headers above.

You’re right, there is a huge jump from toddler products to men’s hair and face care. I love the branding on these, nice and clean and simple.

31st State is a great idea, there is such a lack in this area for teenage boys. When my older son hit teens he needed to really look after his skin, and I found most mens products were too harsh. I ended up buying things like Simple, which were kinder. But he didn’t want to be seen buying them himself, ever.

It’s so good to see a range of products like this created for teenage boys. When I’ve been shopping for my 14 year old daughter I’ve noticed that there are way more products for girls than boys!!

These products sound like they really work and look cool – which is difficult to find with teen products as they tend to be style over substance. What a great find!

    Thanks for sharing!
