If there was a queen of sleeping or spending time in bed I would hands down be right up there and crowned. Its a common joke among friends that come 6pm I’m upstairs in bed. Doing the job I do can see me using my bed as a rather large comfy office space. My back leaning against a rather large abundance of pillows and my caffeine fix on the bedside table. Surely this is everyone’s ideal office space, right? Our home of course is a busy one. Having 5 children at home at the minute plus a man child means each room is bustling with activity. Our bedroom which is located in the converted loft space has become somewhat a sanctuary since having the little people. We use it as an area to wind down, a place where we can rebalance, rest and of course sleep. That said its also the place were my older children confide in me, the place were I can get the best cuddles from my little ones and that Stuart and I can spend time together. Sleep and rest no matter what time of the day is so important for us all. To waken feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the day ahead is one of the best feelings. Even a cat nap mid afternoon can be a wonderful way boost to the mood and a positive way to increase energy. Being that person who spends a fair bit of time in bed I know a good comfortable mattress and one that not only offers protection but value for money. I was recently approached by Leesa sleep to review one of their mattresses. After doing my own research which I do prior to any partnership is formed I welcomed the collaboration with open arms.
The Leesa Mattress Story
Leesa began its journey in Virginia Beach but has since expanded internationally and has a head office based in Manchester. A brand that has very much grown over the years but has taken upon a give back scheme. You guys know I adore brands that give something back but who are also planet wise. For 1 in every 10 mattresses sold the company give 1 Leesa mattress to charities that support the ever growing homeless population. To date they have donated over 30,00 Leesa mattresses 🙂
“At its most basic, we offer a well-designed solution to the desire humans have to rest their mind, body and soul for the day ahead.”
— David Wolfe, Co-founder & CEO

The unique design of performance foam layers offers us the consumer core support, contouring pressure relief and a cooling bounce. The Leesa mattress is made up with 3 layers that adjust to your body. I love this concept as we all like something different in terms of softness/firmness.

I was really keen to see how the Leesa mattress would arrive. I knew it arrived in box but was interested to see how. The Leesa Mattress comes compressed and carefully wrapped as to not cause damage etc. I will include a video below of me opening mine out. As you will see its very easy and the box comes with very clear instructions. The Leesa Mattress is positioned with the 4 strip design positioned at the foot of your bed. The Leesa Mattress takes around 24 hours to fully expand but can be slept on after a few hours at which point you are ready to dress your bed. I mentioned above I am a bed hog. But I have also had issues over the last few years sleep wise. Since we have been using The Leesa Mattress my sleep has improved greatly. I feel much more comfortable in bed which I feel has helped my sleep greatly. The Leesa Mattress gives me a feeling of support which is great for my back, moving during the night is effortless and the The Leesa Mattress adapts to my positioning. Ensuring that I have a comfortable sleep no matter the time of day. I feel its really important to invest in something that allows us to get a comfortable rest and wake feeling refreshed. Our lives are so busy nowadays so quality rest is paramount for us all.
