My love and desire to travel more have increased greatly over the last few years. The smalls are getting bigger which means my want to explore other countries can commence again. I have also found that as I have gotten older there are so many more places that I want to venture to. Places that aren’t your typical 2-hour flight away, let’s be honest a standard pool holiday has never really been me. Being a lover of luxury as well it’s always nice to spoil oneself every once in a while and a holiday is just the right way to do this. Always a dreamer I often escape to my Bucket List Places To Travel destinations, I can often be found browsing the Destination2.co.uk website on the school run whilst I wait for the smalls to get out. Escapism at it’s finest 🙂 The places that I have dreamed of visiting for many years for multiple reasons. All very tranquil in its own way but each offering their own stamp on travel luxury.
Bucket List Places To Travel
The last 2 years and especially since I have started blogging creating New year’s goals and planning travel has been something that I have really enjoyed. For me when I write something down I’m much more likely to stick to it or try and achieve it. I have already planned one of my trips this year from my News Years post but planning further ahead and having that ultimate travel bucket list is a must for me. So what destinations did I add my travel bucket list?
So many of my favourite YouTubers visit The Maldives and to be honest until I started seeing it more on camera I hadn’t thought of visiting. But what a gorgeous island. I instantly fell in love with the golden beaches, the clear crystal waters. The idea of staying in wooden luxury accommodation located along a long wooden walkway fill me with so much excitement. The endless photograph opportunities are a bloggers dream. For me, this island sums up the meaning of the word luxury.
Unlike the Maldives, the Carribean has been a top runner for travel bucket list for many years. The Caribbean for me epitomises a relaxing, sandy, sun-drenched beach holiday. Whilst hosting some amazing carnivals and providing some delicious foods. The residents are known for being the most friendly people you may ever meet, super welcoming and laid back.
Very different to my other 2 choices. Visiting a vibrant and extremely busy city doesn’t mean that we have to let go of the luxurious hotels. For me exploring this vast city, shopping, enjoying many meals and then returning to a beautiful hotel tick all the boxes. My daughter actually spurred my interest on for Hong Kong. Her love for Anime, alternative pop and the culture leant me to start researching the county and it was definitely a fall in love at first sight kind of thing. I also crave the fast-paced way of life, unlike London, the temperatures are very promising in Hong Kong seeing 13 degrees being their lowest temps for winter.
I hope you guys have enjoyed my Bucket List Places To Travel. Where would you go to if money was no object?
