Ski Holiday Accessories

In 17 days we are heading off on our first Ski Holiday, squeal. I took the head staggers in December and decided that in 2018 I wanted to explore more. I want to create amazing memories for my children which I have from our adventures when I was growing up. The smalls are of an age now that traveling is so much easier, we no longer have to bring the kitchen sink with us and they are loving our time away as much as I do. So in the build-up to the trip, I have been stockpiling loads of amazing items to take with us. Some essentials and some are more to make things easier for us. So today I’m talking about Ski Holiday Accessories.

Ski Holiday Accessories

We are going by car, those of you who have been readers for a while will know I absolutely hate flying. We are traveling from Ireland directly to France and the journey itself will be an amazing adventure. We are staying overnight in Paris each way as well hooray before arriving in Chamonix which is our ski resort.

Buff Multi Use Neck Warmer and Hat

Ski Holiday Accessories

The creator of BUFF is Juan Rojas. With 25 years experience in the textile industry, Juan compiled a collection of items that protected us from the elements in our chosen sport. Thermo net is a research-based fabric which is the fabric used in the BUFF items. Created to retain heat in the most extreme conditions, whilst also offering high thermal insulation and moisture wicking. What I love about these items are how lightweight they are. The design was based with athletes in mind and are perfect for those who like trekking, running cycling and hiking. As I mentioned above its made up with moisture-wicking technology in the form of Primaloft technology. This also allows the garments to dry faster but also maintain a steady body temperature.

You guys know I am a huge lover of eco-friendly items well so are the creators of BUFF. BUFF has a commitment to protect the environment which I love to hear and 70% of the fibres made are from recycled PET bottles. the range also comes in a range of colours and designs to suit all.

There is a huge range of items to choose from over on the website, link below. The above mentioned are all available in a range of colours as well 🙂

Perform at your best and stay warm and dry this winter, without the need for bulky layers, with the new ThermoNet® range from BUFF®.

Snuggly Rascals Comfortable Headphones for Kids

I’m absolutely obsessed with these so are the kids 🙂 The snuggly rascals headphones are perfect for any trip away or for children at home for some quiet music or iPad time. The design is adorable. Made with a soft fleece fabric and super comfortable for little one’s ear, plus keeping the area nice and warm. Worn around the forehead and fastening with velcro at the back, meaning they are adjustable to suit your child’s head. From a price stance, they are super affordable. I also thought these would make a great gift or an alternative Easter treat.

The company also donate 10% of profits to different charities every month. I love it when a brand does this, it really shows that they care and we as buyers are also helping others which is always a good thing.

Sunsense Family Sunscreen

We have been using Sunsense for a while now. Mason is allergic to sunscreen and this is one that he doesn’t react badly with 🙂 So instead of buying multiple brands we all use the same. Obviously going away on a ski trip requires high sun protection at all times. We have a number of items from their vast range to take away with us. The entire range is also formulated using high-quality ingredients and is lanolin free and dermatologically tested

Daily face 50+

Sports Gel SPF 50

This formula is perfect for my husband who is very much a sports lover, this range is great for those who suffer from acne prone skin, oily skin and on hairy areas, so great for men’s legs/chests/arms etc. Another SPF 50 product which gives 4 hours water resistance.

Containing Vitamin E to help improve age spots and skin elasticity

Contains Vitamin B3 which maintains the normal skin barrier

Available in 125ml gel and 200ml spray

Thermos Stainless King Flask

Even before we have gotten away on our ski trip this has been put to the test with the horrendous weather that we have been having. I must say I’m a huge fan already, I have been using this for the school runs both morning and afternoon to keep me warm in the extreme dips in temps. The Thermos King Flask is perfect for keeping liquids hot or cold for 24 hours. They are made using insulation technology for temperature retention. Being a retro fan the design has a huge appeal to me as well. They also come in a gorgeous range of colours including midnight blue, matte black, copper (new), gunmetal (new) and cranberry. You can buy them from Argos, TK Maxx, Lakeland, The Range, Debenhams and Amazon to name a few and also from Thermos direct link below. They are also priced at  £24.99

Have you guys been on a ski trip before?

I’ve never been skiing, but I used to go snowboarding every week when I lived in NY and these would be ideal for that as well 🙂

Great products to showcase. I’ve only being skiing once when I was about 8 so I certainly don’t think I’d have any skills if I went back on a slope! lol

I have never been to a ski holiday before but I just returned from a hiking one in the snow and all your advice applied for it as well. A high SPF lip balm and sunscreen are essential, as the sun is so strong when it reflects in the snow.
