Biolage Launches R.A.W

Biolage Launches R.A.W

Before I had my smalls I worked for many years as a Hairstylist and Colour Technician for some of Irelands leading Salons. I have had the pleasure of working with some fabulous brands. Biolage comes under the umbrella of one of these. So from the off I know I’m using a good high-end product, which has been thoroughly researched and tested. Today I’m going to be talking about a new release from Biolage. Biolage launches R.A.W a new range of Natural products which offers crave-worthy, do-good, feel-good Natural Haircare. I have been trying out a few products from the range for a few weeks now, and as you guys know I’m all about the Natural Products.

Biolage

Biolage falls under the L’oreal and Matrix umbrella both well-known worldwide brands. Matrix was created in 1980 by a Husband and wife team offering over 20 years of Hairdressing experience. Knowing the industry well and the markets need for good quality salon products they created and produced a competitive range offering Salons high-quality merchandise.

The Biolage Range

Biolage R.A.W is a true innovation to the Natural Haircare market. Offering you a range of products tailored to your hair’s needs but also looking after the environment at the same time.

  • Up to 97% Natural ingredients
  • Up to 99% Biodegradable
  • No Parabens
  • No Silicones
  • No Sulphates

Biolage Nourish Shampoo £18.29

The Nourish Shampoo is predominately for hair that is dry and dull. Having coloured my hair for many years the mid lengths of my hair have become dry over time so a product to add moisture is exactly what I needed. Coming in a 325ml container the product is a lovely light honey colour. The Shampoo has a lovely fresh scent and feels ultra rich to touch. Quinoa husk and honey make up the ingredients in this formula that together leaves dry hair feeling soft, bouncy and nourished. I have found the shampoo to be very concentrated so your always best starting out with a smaller amount first. Wet hair as normal and apply a small amount to the palm of your hand. Run the Shampoo from roots to ends and rinse. I always shampoo twice, I tend to use the first shampoo to remove any dirt and product residue and the second to thoroughly cleanse the hair.

  • 71% Natural Origin
  • 99% Biodegradable
  • No Sulphates
  • No Silicone
  • No Parabens
  • 100% Recycled Plastic
  • No Artifical Colourants

Biolage Nourish Conditioner £18.29

One of my favourite products from the Biolage Range. The Nourish Conditioner is the second step of the Nourish treatment. The Nourish Conditioner comes in a 325ml container with a pop lid. The conditioner like the above-mentioned shampoo nourishes dry and dull hair. The product smells incredible, a lover of all things coconut this is just perfect for me. After shampooing and rinsing apply a small amount to the palms of your hands and run through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. I tend to concentrate on the ends of my hair as I can suffer from oily roots, but you can adjust your application to your hairs needs. It’s best to leave the product on for a few minutes to really let it penetrate the hair. Then rinse as normal.

  • 97% Natural Origin
  • 99% Biodegradable
  • No Sulphates
  • No Silicone
  • No Parabens
  • 100% Recycled Plastic
  • No Artifical Colourants

Biolage Re-Hydrate Clay Mask

I use a hair mask at least once a week. It gives my hair that added moisture that it craves. Due to pollution and using heat I find that my hair can become overly dry. So adding a good quality mask into my hair routine is paramount to maintain that shiny, bouncy soft look that we all crave. The Biolage Re-Hydrate Clay Mask is a lovely thick and rich product with a creamy consistency. The mask has a lovely light scent and comes in a 400g pot with a screwable lid. With added Shea Butter and Moroccan Lava Clay, these offer the perfect combination to tackle dry and dull hair. Although the product is a thick consistency it doesn’t weigh your hair down. Apply to wet hair and run from roots to ends and leave on for approx 5 mins, then rinse. I use a hair mask as part of my pamper routine and pop a face mask or sheet on at the same time.

  • 97% Natural Origin
  • No Silicones
  • 50% Recycled Plastic
  • No Artifical Colourants
  • No Parabens

Biolage Rebodify Clay Mask

Since growing my hair for the first time in years I have found that it’s lost its body and oomph. I have been using the Re-Bodify Clay Mask to give my hair that extra needed body. The product itself smells absolutely amazing. Light grey in colour with added Ginger and Kaolin Clay to help combat flat and fine hair. Thick and creamy in consistency a little goes a long way when using this product which makes it great value for money. Apply a small amount from roots to ends after using a Biolage R.A.W shampoo and leave for 5 minutes then rinse.

  • 97% Natural Origin
  • No Silicones
  • 50% Recycled Plastic
  • No Artifical Colourants
  • No Parabens

Thoughts

I must say I’m super impressed with the Biolage range. It’s clear that they have put so much time and effort into coming up with a range that offers concentrated high-end products which are super affordable but also planet friendly. I have had some lovely results from using the hair masks and will continue incorporating them into my pampering routine. The Shampoo and Conditioner are fantastic, I have been having breakouts of dry scalp for a few months and it has definitely reduced since using this duo. Look Fantastic have the entire Biolage range, to view or make a purchase click here
