Boody Clothing Suitable For Sensitive Skin

I’m a massive fan of Boody as you guys will know if you follow me on Instagram and my posts on here.  From the brand’s ethics to the comfort factor, Boody has all angles covered. The range includes items for men/women and babies which are eco-friendly, sustainably sourced and responsibly produced. I have mentioned in a few posts that Mason has suffered from skin issues since he was a few months old. This coupled with an increased interest in ethically sourced/environmentally friendly items spurred our love of sourcing eco-friendly items for us and the home. Today I’m talking about Boody Clothing Suitable For Sensitive Skin. The perfect range for those with skin complaints but also those who prefer a softer breathable fabric next to their skin.

The Boody Story

Boody was created in Australia by a fashion designer and pharmacist. Both had a clear vision and a want for the brand. This was spurred on by their passion for good health and the environment. Using their expertise in both fields a range of eco-friendly bamboo garments took the words comfort and stylish to a new level.  Boody is very much a luxury essential everyday wear brand which is also super affordable. Meaning its a much more accessible brand for those who want to be more eco-aware. But also those who want a fabric that offers a softer feel, that wicks moisture away but that is also suitable for those who have sensitive skin.

Sourcing Boody Fabric

Boody has been sourced with up to 95% organic and chemical free yarn. This is then mixed with a small amount of nylon to allow the fabric to withhold its shape but also keeping it wrinkle free and stretchy. The products are made seam free which is excellent for adults or little ones who dislike the feeling of a seam close to the skin. Bamboo in the growing stages thrives without the use of pesticides. Bamboo itself contains an antifungal and antibacterial agent called Bamboo Kun. The benefit of this when producing clothing is that bamboo fabric is odour free meaning it keeps you fresh all day.

Fabrics Suitable for Sensitive Skin

Boody is hydroscopic meaning that moisture is shunted away from the body. This allows your skin to breath more easily. Which makes it an ideal product for those with sensitive skin or people with eczema.

The Boody brand is now available worldwide.

In this feature, I’m wearing the V neck t-shirt, full-length leggings and the low cut sneaker socks. I have been wearing these out and about running daily errands and also to the gym, it’s not technically built for activewear but it works so well. The socks are also amazing, super soft and comfortable. I now don’t want to go back to traditional trainer socks ha. What I also love about Boody is that its a perfect base layer for skiing. We are heading off next month and I can’t wait to put Boody to the test whilst on the slopes.

I have not heard of Boody clothes so far, but it sounds like a fabulous product, especially since its chemical free and does not cause an allergic reaction. I will go check out their range now.

It’s so good that there’s more clothing for sensitive skin as I know my friends son gets a lot of rashes with things which aren’t super sensitive x

I’ve never really thought about the fact that clothing material can impact your skin. I really love the socks and the fact they are super soft, which like you say is what you need for the gym and that breath ability.

What a great idea for a clothing range, especially for those who suffer badly with their skin. I have had psoriasis in the past and it was easily aggravated by fabrics rubbing and catching on it! xxx

I hadn’t heard of Boody and I love the fact that it is good for the skin AND the planet! Sadly the range doesn’t go as big as I would need, however as with other companies, sometimes ranges do grow, so I will keep my eyes out for updates xx
