Get Buzzing Bars

Get Buzzing Bars

I have set myself a task for Summer next year, I know a long way off but this requires some super dedication on my part. Since having the twins I have massively struggled with my weight for one reason or another. On my quest to reverse the digits on the scales I have embarked on a massive health kick. I think I have massively taken my health for granted for many years and now that I have hit 40 it’s my mission to keep on top of my health and get back to how I was. My one struggle is food. I’m a massive foodie, I love all things rich as well as snacking. I’m now 3 weeks into my new health regime and I’m feeling so much better for it. I want to sustain this way of life, so having key ingredients and items to help me do this are key to my success. Now that I’m working from home as well as running around after the kids and spending some time during the day on the school run, I want to have a healthy snack that I can pop in my bag or grab when I’m at home. Something nutritious but also packed full of goodness, but also curbing that hunger pang that I always get mid afternoon. I have been trying out some Get Buzzing Bars over the last few weeks and today I want to share my thoughts on the products.

Launched in 2009 the company wanted to create a range of bars for everyone in your household. Perfect addition to Children’s Lunchboxes, Snack Drawers at work, a perfect after Gym workout treat or for a healthy grab and go snack for during the day. The Get Buzzing aim is to create real food, real taste and real expectations. All the bars featured in the range boast a low glycemic index, for those not in the know means that they release Natural Sugars into our system slowly without giving us the sugar rush and then plummet out the other side.

The Get Buzzing Bar Nut Safety Promise

As a mum with a child with a nut allergy, I am super impressed with the companies efforts to make sure there are zero nuts traces in any of their bars. There are no nut products allowed or made in the factory where the bars are made.

“We go to extraordinary lengths to try and make our getbuzzing bars safe for people with Nut Allergies.” – as well as being Members of the Anaphalxis Society.
There are no GUARANTEES in life but we at getbuzzing have gone to great lengths implementing stringent procedures to keep nuts OUT of the manufacturing factory.  It is a factory that is ‘nut free’ and we undertake the ‘9 Nut Testing’ at regular intervals throughout the year.

My Thoughts On The Get Buzzing Bars

Get Buzzing

I love the idea that the bars come in 2 different sizes, so if you need a small hit it resists your urge to eat a whole bar unnecessarily. They are the perfect size for popping in your bag or storing in the car for that mid afternoon hunger pang on the school run. I love trying to source items that taste good but are healthy at the same time. The Get Buzzing Bars tick these boxes and more. They come in multiple flavours to suit a variety of taste buds. The company offers a great variation in sizes for purchasing from sample bars, multipack right up to boxes containing 24 bars. This is great especially for those who maybe want to try the bars out before committing to the larger style boxes. My favourite bar out of the selection that I have tried has to be the Mint Chocolate Chip High Protein Bar which is Nut and Gluten free. These are snacks that I will continue to purchase throughout my own journey but also for others members of my family for an easy go to snack.

** this post contains PR Samples as always my thoughts are 100% my own

I love this idea! My husband has a severe nut allergy so it’s good to have snack options when I’m trying to eat healthily.

Love the sound of these bars! We eat a lot of snack bars in our house (they’re great for portable cycling fuel!) so I’ll definitely try and pick some up next time we go for a shop.

Not heard of these bars before, but I am always looking for high protein bars for post-gym snacks 🙂

I love the sound of the mint choc chip one! I don’t have a nut allergy but I can’t stand the taste of certain nuts and can tell when something tastes even slightly of them, so these sound perfect for me 🙂
