Essential Oils are something that I started using when I had the children. Actually, the first time was straight after the birth of my first baby when the Midwife recommended adding some Tea Tree Oil to my bath to help with healing.  I hadn’t until this point realised how amazing they were are how adaptable they can be. Researching I found out just how much we can use them in our homes and also to create different moods. Being a person who doesn’t sleep very well, Essential Oils have transformed my sleeping routines, by either adding a few drops of Lavender Oil to my pillow or by adding to my pre bed bath. As someone who has embraced using oils, I thought I would create an Essential Oils Free Download for anybody out there who isn’t sure which oils are best to use in certain situations.

As you guys know I love my Natural Beauty Products and so many brands out there are incorporating Essential Oils into their ingredients.  From Haircare to Facial washes and serums. Never has the Beauty industry been so packed full of new Companies launching Natural Products on to the market. I do tend to review a fair few Natural Products here on the Blog and I have really enjoyed the experience of trying new launches out but also replacing my existing products with Natural Ones.

 

There is also an array of pre-prepared products on the market as well. All created to allow you to create a certain mood and also giving you the benefit of being able to pop the products in your bag. I have reviewed some of the lines from Scentered to read my post click here.

 

Have any of you guys incorporated Essential Oils into your daily living routine or maybe used them before and had a good experience?

    I have to admit that I have never used essential oils and I didn’t know about their benefits. I would like to try the lavender oil for a good night’s sleep. I like the smell of lavender.

    When I suffered with bad anxiety, panic attacks and claustrophobia anything lavender scented was an absolute god send! Just a little on my pillow, on my wrist and a dab on my temples really helped soothe me. I was going through these quite frequently and quickly learnt to associate the smell with calmness and breathing and I still do to this day. It’s always handy when they are handbag size as well for on the go.

    I would have to say that’s really the only essential oil I’ve ever used, so maybe I need to have a look around and see what else I can incorporate into my routine.

    I have to admit I haven’t used essential oils as much as I could, however I do often have my humidifier on with an oil inside to make the place smell wonderful.

    I have problems sleeping as I have insomnia and because I have high level of anxiety due to stress I find that essential oils can help soothe me x

    I love a few drops of lavender oil in my pillow which really helps me sleep. I’d love to experiment more with essential oils though.

    I’ve actually never used Essential Oils before but I love adding a lavender spray to my pillow before bed so I will definitely look into it 🙂

    I love using essential oils. I studied herbal medicine years ago so learnt how to use them both externally and internally. They can be really useful 😉

    I remember a time when I was extremely stressed. I went to visit a woman who sadly passed away a couple of years ago. She mixed me a concoction of essential oils that I wore. Before I knew it my stress disappeared. Like you I prefer to use natural remedies. Essential oils are wonderful for a variety of reasons. Lavender is probably one of my favourites. I put in the bath and I also make a tea from dried flowers.

    Yes, Essential oils are one of my stress reliever. The calming and soothing scent while meditating helps me release the tensions around my body.

    I’ve heard about the uses of essential oils but haven’t actually tried it myself. Maybe I’ll try adding a few drops of lavender on my pillow someday too.

    I love essential oils. My mum used to really love things like this so she would always recommend lavender in an oil burner in the bath before bed – it always sent me off into a deep lovely sleep! 🙂
