Having 6 children who take lunches and all with varying degrees of fussiness I thought I would compile a small list of Healthy Lunch Box Ideas for Children. Some of these are great for adults as well. Save time and money and bulk prep for all the family.   • Cheese and Salad sandwiches
  • Chicken and Sweetcorn Pita with Mayo
  • Tuna and Bean Salad

  • Hummus and Breadsticks

  • Fruit skewers

I asked some mum friends what their smalls like for Lunch and they offered the following as ideas and also things that they pop in their children’s boxes.

Cheese cubes, Sushi, Blueberries and Cherry Tomatoes and Banana Bread – Christie

Grapes, Cucumber, Banana Chips and Carrot Sticks  – Amie

Omlette Muffins – Katie

Celery Sticks, Bread Sticks, Carrot Sticks, Sliced Peppers with Hummus. Crispbreads with Philadelphia. Slices of Melon and Pineapple – Lindsay

    My daughters used to love pitta bread with hummous and salad. They also enjoyed pittabread with falafal hoummous and salad.
