Lottie Dolls Inspired By Real Kids

I’m very much a lover of items that have been made in my home country. We are always drawn to purchase items from such companies, supporting local businesses as a family is something that we are very passionate about. Lottie Dolls fits perfectly into this category plus I adore the companies ethos. Before we headed off on our summer family holiday we received 2 Lottie Dolls for the twins. The boys were super excited to get playing with them, I can definitely see why, fun dolls with added accessories, what’s not to love?

Lottie Dolls The Brand

Lottie Dolls are based In Donegal which is in the North of Ireland. A fun and vibrant company who puts a lot of effort and thought into their designs and making children’s play times exciting and rewarding. Lottie Dolls want to help maintain the magical years of childhood. An award winning company with over 30 International Toy awards won to date. The designs are predominately made from the imaginations of children.

Our Lottie Doll Experience

Lottie dolls

As I said earlier the boys were super excited to get playing. We introduced them properly to their Lottie Dolls on the boat. We knew we had a long evening ahead and what a great way to alleviate the boredom but to play with their new friends. From a parent’s perspective, the dolls are the perfect size for little hands. All the accessories are made with small hands in mind, which is great as it limits frustrations. Logan decided he wanted Lottie Autumn Leaves and Mason reached for Finn Kite Flyer. Both came with cool accessories, Lottie had a scarf and hat and Finn a Kite. Logan had so much fun playing with Lottie’s hair. Logan loves textures and her hair was perfect, he thoroughly enjoyed popping her hat and scarf on and taking her on adventures. Mason adored Finn and had lots of fun playing with his kite, he did also reach for Lottie at points and it was lovely watching him play with both the dolls.

I must say I am super impressed the whole Lottie Doll concept as a whole. The attention to detail is amazing and they are a doll that the boys never tire of playing with. The size for me was also a big plus, handy for a toy in the car, school run and on trips. We as mums are always looking for ideas to make the children happy but that is also very transportable and the Lottie Doll ticks all these boxes and more. We can’t wait to get some of the other dolls from the range now and add to our collection. These are also very competitively priced and a perfect gift for Birthdays and Christmas as well.

I’ve seen these dolls around for a little while now and I think they’re great. My lad used to play with dolls too and I used to get awful sexist remarks about it.

Lottie dolls look so cute and great dolls and accessories for little fingers. I’m glad they both enjoyed playing with them. They definitely look like they went on lots of adventures whilst you were away.

That’s lovely that they’re made locally, and they’re lovely dolls. I think it’s great that you’re happy with your boys playing with dolls, I think too many parents are put off by this x

Looks like a fun activity using these Lottie Dolls! I never knew this before and I guess this is the doll my friend from Ireland is talking about.

I love Lottie dolls, they are beautifully made and recognise that children are still children, rather than trying to make them grown up before their time.

Such a nice idea to base dolls on real life kids. It makes them so special and something you definitely wouldn’t want to give to a charity shop later on in life!

I always assume that kids never play with dolls these days. I guess purely because most parents hand them their phones to play with. Really nice to see your little ones with something that encourages them to use their imagination!
